This page is an unofficial fan website owned and maintained by Lesley Ashmore, AKA Zakiyah, begun in January, 1997. This page is strickly non-profit and at no time have I ever made money off the cartoon series.

All page layouts, interviews, descriptions, and original art (art drawn by myself) fall under my personal copyright, and you may NOT copy them without my permission. (The D&D pictures, screen captures, toys, books, etc- well, they aren't mine, so I can't stop you from using them on your page...though you'll be really lame if you do, and every fan that goes to your site will know you took them from me, and who wants to see the same images and information over and over on every D&D site out there anyway...? Not to mention that I can give you ORIGINAL screen captures if you want pics that aren't on every other site; all you have to do is ask...)

I do not guarantee that the information in these webpages is completely accurate. My information comes from the cartoon episodes themselves, the closing credits, and the writers and creators of the show. As far as possible I have attempted to document and doublecheck the veracity of all statements made on this page with primary source information. (Being a scientist, it's my nature...) Other websites may provide contradictory information. I will gladly reveal the source of any information I have to anyone cares enough about it to email me.

It is the nature of the internet that many people will link to this page, and vice versa. I hereby give permission for anyone to link to this page, provided that it is made clear that my page is not affiliated either with their page, or with TSR, Inc. I am in no way responsible for the content of any website but my own. along those lines, I do not feel that I am responsible for the content of any page to which I have linked to. Artists and writers who have contributed to this site have given me their permission to post their fan art and fanfiction, and are in no way responsible for the other content of this page. Their work is copyrighted to them and their permission must be obtained prior to duplication or distribution of their work. They are not receiving any monetary compensation for their work either.

This page is not endorsed by or affiliated with TSR, Inc., Marvel Productions, Wizards of the Coast, or Hasbro. (At this point I'm not even sure which one owns the copyright to the cartoon.) The Dungeons and Dragons Animated Series was produced by TSR, Inc. and Marvel Produtions. All characters and images are owned by them, and are posted without permission.  I would like to state for the record that I HAVE tried to obtain permission to post copyrighted images three times from Wizards of the Coast, and my queries were never answered. I take this to mean that WOTC does not intend to challenge me for posting them at this time.

This site is the result of my love for the cartoon series that inspired my youth, and the desire to share information that is no longer available with others. Therefore I feel there can be no objection to my posting of text from books that are out of print, which TSR isn't making money from any longer and which are generally unavailable except through collectors. If at any time these books are put BACK into print, I will remove the text from my site.

If, in the future, someone from their legal department decides my fan site is an unnacceptable infringement of their copyrights, I will happily remove any offending material from my site. However, after review of the available documentation on copyright laws, I maintain that providing information and researched documentation on this cartoon, including the use of trademarked names and characters, for educational purposes (i.e., for the eddification of fans) falls under the "Fair Use" section of U.S. copyright law and is thus legal. I believe that the fan fiction and the fan art on this site are covered by TSR's acceptable use policy:

While this fan site would hardly be the same without all the great pictures garnered from screen caps, I admit they are violating #2,  and will take them down if they ask me to.
