Our Heroes made a cameo appearance in this promotional comic distributed to comic stores in 1996, implying that The Realm is actually the world of the Forgotten Realms, and that the kids never made it home. I think you'll agree that while it's nice to see that the kids were not forgotten, the artwork is atrocious....and as for the story, I'll just say that Kelly St. Clair's review is being generous...(Shane Hatheway kindly donated his copy to me).
Here are the first few pages...after that it gets pretty silly and you don't see any more of the other kids-- just the guy who looks more like Shaggy than Presto. (click on the pic for larger images- they're pretty big so be patient!)
