Sheila, the Thief
Sheila is the most compassionate character of all the kids, often moved to tears of joy or sorrow. She even suggests that Venger still had some good within him
(which is pretty forgiving, you have to admit). She worries all the time (especially
about her brother Bobby and his annoying tendency to charge blindly at
monsters ten times bigger than he) and she has a terrible fear of being
alone. Her weapon, the cloak of invisibility, is the only weapon
that is mentioned in the AD&D Player's Handbook.
Interestingly, Sheila was only named a "Thief" in the original opening credits of the original CBS broadcasts. She is never called "thief" in any of the episodes; even DM calls her by her name (unlike the other kids).
The later Fox version cut out the voiceover of DM assigning the kids their titles, and many foreign broadcasts have changed her profession to "Magician."
